This group of performers are coming together specially for the festival under the direction of İrfan Gürdal, an expert on musical traditions of Turkish peoples. Each musician is a foremost performer in their own area. They will be playing rare pieces which are formed by Turkish peoples of different regions with an Islamic perspective.
Pieces to be performed by the group points to the unity of perspective in the way Turkish peoples of the world approcah Islam. Songs are selected from different parts of Turkish world and they span different schools of sufism among the Turkish peoples. Program which includes samples from Sunni,Shi’i and Alaouite traditions, will also invlove two “hikmet”s -hidden meanings- belonging to Yesevi. Being historical examples of Turkish religious music, these two “hikmet”s demonstrate the love of the Propehet and zikir traditions of Central Asia.

Instruments
Kanun
It is said that kanun was invented by Farabi, a great Turkish scholar, lived in tenth century. It is used with 78 wires. The sounds which is nearly four octave will become shrill and deepen by switch plugs. In its body different trees use like box, linden tree and ebony.
Kaval
Kaval mainly consists of 8 holes on a selected wood. There is variety of woods that could be found depending on region but boxwood is one of the most common ones among others. Some of the Kavals also include a whistle in order to create sound. These sorts of Kavals are called “Dilli Kaval” (Tongued Kaval).
Kaval is used generally to refer to all shepherd’s pipes and more particularly (though not invariably) to ductless flutes. The presence or absence of a duct is sometimes specified by the addition of a qualification: “Dilsiz Kaval” (‘Kaval without a tongue’. It is possible to find different qualifications of Kaval in Central Asia.
Garmon
Garmon is a quite similar instrument to Accordeon except for the keys on its keyboard. It is widely used in Azerbaijani Folk Music.
Tar
Tar, with a meaning of string in Persian, is generally used in Iran, Azerbaijan and some Caucasian regions. It posseses a long handle while the number of strings varies in which region it is used.
Ud
Connected to the name of the boat hull and the boat back to the deviation between the wires with a fretless stringed instrument is played. Of the tree trunk and found a very kind and quality affects the sound of the Ud.
